I don't understand who your characterizations are supposed to refer to. And I don't know what philosophy preaches "make friends, not war," but surely that can't be a principle of Objectivism. Should Dagny have made friends with James?

You might not think there are real moral issues involved in these disputes, which is something one could defend. But to say that it's childish not to "make friends" if one is convinced there are moral issues involved is NOT something that I think could be defended.
